Golf Jungle Birdies Golf Tour
Day 1
|
Arrive at Durban International Airport.
You will be met by your Private Safaris Representative
who will hand over your co-pilot package and hotel vouchers
and escort you to the Europcar Rental vehicle counter.
Collect your separately booked rental car and make your
own way to Pennington and the Selborne Golf Lodge. Check
in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning round of
18-holes at Selborne Golf Course, one of the most spectacular
18 holes in Southern Africa. Wild coastal forest frames
a superbly manicured course. Afternoon and evening at
leisure at the estate.

| Day 3 |
Breakfast at the hotel. Make your own way
to San Lameer for a morning or afternoon round of golf
on the 18-hole championship golf course designed by Peter
Matkovich and Dale. Evening at leisure at the estate.

Breakfast at the hotel. Make your own way
to Umdoni Golf Course for morning round of 18-holes. Afterwards,
return to Selborne and spend the remainder of the day
at leisure.

| Day 5 |
Breakfast at the hotel. Make your own way
to Royal Durban Golf Club for morning round of 18-holes.
Afterwards, spend some time at leisure, exploring Durban
and its markets at your own pace. Return to Selborne in
the late afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

| Day 6 |
Breakfast and check-out from the hotel.
Make your own way to Zimbali Lodge, one of Southern Africa's
most exclusive hideaways, set within a coastal forest
reserve on the north coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Upon arrival
at the hotel, check in and spend the rest of the day at
leisure.

| Day 7 |
Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the morning
golfing at the Zimbali Country Club. The Course is a par
72 championship course, designed by former South African
PGA and British Open Champion, Tom Weiskopf and is both
challenging and superbly beautiful, offering world-class
standards.

| Day 8 |
Breakfast and check-out from the hotel.
Luggage to be stored at Zimbali at client's own risk.
Make your own way north to Hluhluwe and *Phinda Private
Game Reserve's Mountain Lodge. Arrive in time for lunch
and check in. Embark on a game drive in the late afternoon,
prior to returning to the lodge for dinner.

*Phinda Private Game Reserve is situated in the lush
KwaZulu-Natal region in northern South Africa and comprises
of prime conservation land. Seven distinct habitats shelter
an abundance of wildlife including Africa's Big Five (lion,
leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo) and over 380 bird species,
while the marine diversity off the nearby coast of Sodwana
is said to rival the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

| Day 9 |
Enjoy an early morning game drive before
returning to the lodge in the mid-morning for breakfast.
Spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Set out on
a foot safari with your armed ranger and learn the secrets
of tracking African game. Lunch at the lodge. In the late
afternoon, enjoy another safari before returning to the
lodge for the finest Pan-African cuisine in the open air
Boma (weather permitting)
Overnight Phinda Mountain Lodge (standard room) or

Early morning game drive, followed by breakfast
at the lodge. Late morning check-out from Phinda Mountain
Lodge. Afterwards, make your own way to Durban Airport,
returning your rental vehicle to Europcar. |

Golf course closure dates
All of the above mentioned golf clubs/estates would be closed
on tournament days and public and religious holidays to guests.
In addition to this, the following golf courses are closed:
Selborne
Golf course closed for maintenance from 31 Oct 2005 to November
2005, as well as the same period for 2006.
Umdoni Golf Club
Golf course closed for non-members on Saturdays and Wednesday.
Royal Durban Golf Club
Golf course closed for non-members on Saturdays full day,
Wednesdays full day and Thursday and Fridays, after 09h00
