Holistic Journey - Cape Extension Tour
Day 1
|
George - Knysna
Arrive at George Airport. Continue to the Phantom
Forest Eco Reserve situated 7 km west of Knysna. Spend
the afternoon at the Body Boma where therapists work with
treatments such as The Mineral Mantle, Forest Fusion and
African Seas Escape.
Overnight in Tree suites built with only sustainable materials.

Day 2
|
Knysna
Full day tour of Knysna and surrounds visiting Noetzie
Beach - famous for its castle-like homes, Knysna Elephant
Park, Knysna's vibrant township where the largest Rastafarian
community in SA lives and an afternoon sunset cruise on
the Knysna Lagoon.

Day 3
|
Oudtshoorn
Depart Knysna and travel through to Oudtshoorn via
the town of George and the Outeniqua Pass. Visit the Cango
Caves and an Ostrich Farm.

Day 4
|
Little Karoo
Depart Oudtshoorn and travel via the R62 towards
the town of Barrydale. Visit Cape Crow, the centre for
rehabilitation of Wildlife on a farm called The Manger.
Opportunity to walk the 2-km Lemoenshoek Labyrinth surrounded
by a beautiful garden and views of the Langeberg Mountains.
Continue to the Sanbona Wildlife Reserve where, for the
first time in over 200 years, lion and cheetah can once
again be seen in the Klein Karoo, making Sanbona the first
private game reserve in the Western Cape to play host
to free-roaming big cats.

Day 5
|
Montagu
An early morning appointment will allow you to visit
the Tibetan pagoda then continue Montagu. This afternoon
there is time at leisure to enjoy the hot springs

Day 6
|
Franschhoek
Depart Montagu and continue to the winelands area of Franschhoek,
Stellenbosch and Paarl. Enjoy lunch and wine tasting at
a local wine estate. Visit Paarl Rock and the Language
Monument

Day 7
|
Cape Town
Depart Franschhoek and continue to the V & A Waterfront
in Cape Town for a morning sightseeing tour of Robben
Island. In the afternoon enjoy a Medicine walking tour
of the Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens with a Medicine
Man/Woman. Enjoy a magical journey through the indigenous
plant kingdom of South Africa. Learn about the healing
properties, medicinal and practical uses of our plants.

Day 8
|
Cape Town
Full day Cape Peninsula tour including a visit to the
Labyrinth at the Slangkop Lighthouse or a walk along one
of the many sacred San paths on Table Mountain

|
Cape Town
Today enjoy a spa treatment at the hotel before your
mid afternoon transfer to the Cape Town International
airport and connect with your onward flight. |
