These hotels also have services similar to four and five star hotels.

Five Star Hotel
The emphasis is on luxury, hospitality and service excellence. Accommodation is exceptional with all available facilities – en suite bathrooms, suites with separate lounges, heated towel rails, exclusive embroidered gowns and slippers. Additional features would include internet facilities as well as satellite television. The hotel category caters for guests who prefer exclusivity, as well as business people. Features will also include a fine dining good quality restaurant, bar, conference and banqueting facilities. Facilities will also include 24 hour room service, concierge desk, business centre and a shuttle service. If sporting facilities are not available, these can be arranged. Accommodation can be on a room only basis with meal options.

Four Star Hotel
Also with an emphasis on luxury and service, quality – this option will also cater for families as well as business people with service and comfort important priorities. Facilities are similar to the five star category.

Three Star Hotel
Very popular with families and business people, the hotel category caters for a wide range of people. Accommodation includes en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. These hotels also offer a wide range of services such as breakfast room, limited room service, laundry services and may include other amenities such as a restaurant, bar, swimming pool and may also offer services for business travelers.

Two Star Hotel
For economy travelers who require basic ‘value for money’ accommodation with simple décor and basic facilities such as a reception area and limited services such as a coffee shop. Accommodation can include en suite bathrooms.

One Star Hotel
Aimed specifically at the budget traveler to provide guests with basic, clean functional accommodation with no frills. Basic amenities such as reception accommodation and possible breakfast room are provided for. Guests may have to share bathrooms.
