Kruger National Park |

The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife
experience that ranks with the best in Africa and the world.
It was established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the
South African Lowveld and is a world leader in advanced environmental
management techniques and policies. The park is characterised
by combinations of savannah, thornveld and woodland and his
home to the "Big Five" - Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo
and Rhino, as well as a remarkable number of wild life species
The park is mainly a self-drive destination with the infrastructure
of roads, waterholes, hides, picnic sites and rest camps spread
through the park to ensure the visitor maximum exposure to
the fauna and flora.
- Game drives -The open vehicles are specially designed
for safari conditions and range from 10 seater vehicles
to 20-seater trucks. These will vary, depending on their
availability, from camp to camp as well as company - please
enquire with your local ground handler for further details.
- Nature walks - Trained field guides (with backup
rifles) track rhino, elephant and lion on foot and learn
and observe fascinating facts about the African bush. The
park offers morning walks for +- 2 hours daily except Sundays
for approximately 8 people. Walks are also offered in several
of the private game reserves.
- Wilderness trails - These trails allow adventurous
visitors a close personal encounter with nature by crossing
large areas of unspoiled wilderness on foot, under the guidance
of armed and experienced trail rangers.
- 4x4 Adventure Trails - With a limit of six vehicles
per trail per day, the Trails is an excellent opportunity
to acquaint yourself with the wild and test your skills
on the diverse terrain awaiting your exploration.
