The Eastern Region
This region boasts of its African cultural heritage and
the unspoilt stretch of coastline between East London and
Port Edward known as the Wild Coast.
- The Wild Coast -The region is untamed and extravagantly
beautiful and an ultimate holiday destination.
- Hole in the wall - A prominent rock formation with
a big hole in the centre, carved by the waves over time.
It has become a symbol for the Xhosa in remembrance of a
great historical tragedy - the "Great Cattle Killing".

The Western Region
This region has it all - the coastline, three national parks,
a host of private game reserves and a vibrant mix of cultures
and lifestyles as well as some of the oldest archaeological
sites in the world.
- Nelson Mandela Museum - One of South Africa's most
significant heritage institutions situated close to Nelson
Mandela's and preserves a collection of gifts given to him
through out the years.
- Addo Elephant Park - Situated in the malaria free
and only 73 Km from Port Elizabeth. There is a wide diversity
of game viewing available.
- Tsitsikamma National Park - Contains the country's
biggest indigenous forests and fynbos, stunning wetlands
and is a bird lovers' paradise Blaauwkrans Bridge - The
world's highest bungee jump site - 180 meters of freefall
(lasting about seven seconds).
- The Valley of Desolation - One of the most spectacular
sights in the country. A very steep and narrow road leads
into the mountains that surround this beautiful valley for
incredible views.
- The Owl House - A few minutes outside Graaf-Reinet,
it is here an eccentric recluse of a woman spent the latter
part of her life decorating her house with owl and camel
statues and covered the walls with crushed glass..
- Jeffrey's Bay - Known as the surfing capital of
South Africa, surf lovers come here from all over the world
to experience the "perfect wave".
- Shamwari Game Reserve - A malaria free private
game reserve situated half way between Port Elizabeth and
Grahamstown
- The Mountain Zebra National Park - Within easy
reach of Port Elizabeth, the park is surrounded by lush
vegetation and scenic mountain landscapes and abundant in
game viewing.
