Day 1

Arrival Cape Town / Stellenbosch
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport where you will
be met by your local guide and transferred to the Victoria
& Alfred Waterfront which offers numerous shops, cafes
and African art. There is also an opportunity to visit
a diamond factory to observe how raw diamonds are processed.
Continue to historic Stellenbosch in the Winelands. Discover
this historical town by foot and taste the delicious South
African wines.

| Day 2 |
Winelands
Travel to Paarl and visit the Taal Monument which celebrates
the Afrikaans language, or Taal. Visit a wine estate
for wine-tasting before continuing to Franschhoek via
the Helshoogte Pass. The Franschhoek valley is where
the French Huguenots fleeing Europe settled, bringing
with them their wine-making and culinary skills. Enjoy
wine-tasting and lunch at one of the fine estates in
the area. Return to Stellenbosch with its broad, oak-lined
streets for overnight.

| Day 3 |
Stellenbosch / Route 62 / Oudtshoorn
After breakfast, depart the hotel and travel along Route
62 - the longest wine route - to Oudtshoorn., known as
the 'feather capital of the world'. Visit the famous Cango
Caves, a vast network of interleading passages and massive
caverns, formed more than 650 million years ago, and embark
on a guided tour. In the late afternoon, enjoy a visit
to one of the ostrich show farms. Enjoy dinner prior to
checking into your hotel for overnight.

| Day 4 |
Oudtshoorn / Wilderness
Embark on a morning visit to the Cheetah and Crocodile
farm. Continue via the scenic and winding Outeniqua Pass
towards the coast and Knysna. Visit the Knysna Oyster
Company for a tour followed by lunch. After lunch, board
the *Outeniqua Tjoe-Choo - the last steam hauled scheduled
passenger train operating in Southern Africa, encompassing
some of the most spectacular scenery in South Africa in
the heart of the Garden Route Lake District. *Please
note that the locomotive may be withdrawn from operation
on days when the Fire Danger Index exceeds 55. On
days that the train is not running, an alternative programe
will be arranged, such as a lagoon cruise in Knsyna. Disembark
at Wilderness station and transfer to your hotel for overnight.

| Day 5 |
Garden Route
Travel via Plettenberg Bay to the Tsitsikamma Forests
after breakfast. Embark on a journey down the old Storms
River pass from the comfort of a specially designed vehicle
and experience the indigenous forest. Stop and enjoy lunch
next to the Storms River. Return to Knysna where you will
have time at leisure to explore and enjoy some time shopping.
Afterward, return to your hotel in Wilderness

| Day 6 |
Wilderness / Albertinia
Drive along the coastal road to Mossel Bay, where seafarers
used to post messages to loved ones at the Old Post Office
Tree. Continue to Albertinia and arrive at the Garden
Route Game Lodge in the afternoon. Time at leisure before
joining your first safari in an open safari vehicle. A
traditional African dinner will be served in the Boma
(weather permitting).

| Day 7 |
Albertinia / Cape Town
Early morning tea and coffee before your open vehicle
game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out.
Continue along the coastal route to Hermanus, known to
be the best shore-based whale watching spot in the world
during the months of June to November. The tour ends in
Cape Town with drop-off at your Cape Town based hotel.

Depart Cape Town
Breakfast and check-out of the hotel. 11h00 Latest check-out
allowed at hotel. Day at leisure until your transfer to
Cape Town International Airport for your onward flight.
