Adventure Activities
Zambia's centre for adventure sports is the adventure centre in Livingstone which has a wide range of adventure activities and shops offering river boarding, white water rafting, canoeing, horse riding trails, local tours to the Victoria Falls and around Livingstone. In addition to bungee jumping off the bridge, adrenaline junkies can also abseil down or high-wire across the gorge. Scenic flights in micro-light aircraft offering aerial views of the falls are also available. White water rafting on the tempestuous Zambezi , or a full bodied plummet down the chasm of the Victoria Falls on the end of a rope are a couple of the more overzealous activities up for grabs.Rock climbing and hiking are also popular.

Bungee Jumping Victoria Falls Bridge
This is the highest commercial bridge jump in the world is 111meters high and spans the magnificent Batoka Gorge. It is the most spectacular setting for the ultimate adrenaline rush. Situated on the Victoria Falls Bridge, there is no booking necessary. There is a border post to go through as the bridge is situated in 'no mans land' between Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Flight of Angels
Named after Livingstone's famous comments, the flight of angels is a scenic flight over the falls and provides magnificent views of the falls and the surrounding region. Flying lower than a conventional, fixed-wing aircraft, you will fly a complete course over the falls in both directions and up river and back over the Zambezi National park. For those who require more adventure, micro lighting provides spectacular views.

Victoria Falls craft village
Zambia is an excellent place to buy wooden and stone carvings. Prices are competitive and bargaining is welcomed. Situated in Livingstone behind the post office is the Victoria Falls Craft Village. This small complex of curio shops has some excellent pieces of art and crafts for sale.

Batoka Gorge
A world heritage site, this gorge, with its steep cliffs, churning deep waters and abundant birdlife, is a spectacular site and considered one of the best stretches of commercially Run Rivers' in the world and provides one of the most intense thrills imaginable. Consisting of twenty three whitewater rapids, striking scenery deep within the sheer black cliffs, it affords the adrenaline junkie a roller coaster ride along the Great Zambezi. The rapids are run in large rubber rafts, launched from just below the falls. Half day trip, full day or two day trips are available. When the river is high from the months of March to July, only the last 13 rapids can be done. As the water subsides, from June to February, all 23 are navigable.

Livingstone Island
In 1855 the great explorer, David Livingstone, first viewed the falls from this island. Today visitors can have this same opportunity to view the spectacular sight. For those feeling brave, there is an opportunity to take a heart-stopping peek over the island's edge to the churning waters below or enjoy a dip in the fall's very own "swimming pool".
