Head out into the picturesque region of the Cape Winelands to get your fill of views and wines. The Winelands are famous for creating some of the world’s best wines. For that reason, we recommend setting out an entire day to venture out into the flourishing Cape Winelands. Here visitors can explore the art galleries, learn about the history or stroll around the old towns and farms, indulging in some of the greatest wines the world has to offer.

kirstenbosch botanical gardens

Nestled against the eastern slope of Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch is considered as one of the great botanic gardens of the world. Guests can immerse themselves in a wide array of activities such as taking a stroll through the gardens and the notorious canopy treetop suspension bridge, the ‘Boomslang’, partake in free guided tours or go dine at the restaurant within the garden. Visitors can also pack a picnic basket and lounge anywhere, drinking in the tranquility of the gardens and the mountain keeping silent watch over everything.
